I have such wonderful, happy memories of Hazel - a true friend . We lived three doors away from each other In Loughborough in the early 70s . My husband , Brian , was a student at the university & we didn’t have a car ...... Hazel even drove me to Leicester in December 1972 to have my second child , Rachel ! She was always SO kind & thoughtful - we had so many happy times with our children - John & David seemed so grown up even though they were only probably 5 & 6 years old. Our friendship continued when they left Loughborough & we had lovely visits to Cardiff & The Steppes & they returned to visit us in Leicestershire. I am sad that I didn’t get to visit Hazel in the Care Home . Hazel was a beautiful person ...... a wonderful personality ..... I have so many happy memories of her . Nancy Gallyot
